"There's no time..."

At all, it's all a lie. Or is it? The dis-linear way of thinking about time is a weird concept to grasp. How can it be accepted that things all just happen at once, all at the same time, nothing actually following each other? Why would it make sense that everything would be like slides arranged in a box, with each and every event in time in the universe on each slide, but then the slides aren't connected to each other, but just exist, one in front of the other? What would happen if you existed outside of those slides? Would you experience time? Or would it just be another set of slides, all just existing, not flow between them..

Tired on a Tuesday morning

My mind is awake, but my body feels asleep. In quoting someone from last night's online poker games, "I need toothpicks to keep my eyes open." At the time, I wanted badly to comment on how they shouldn't put toothpicks in their eyes, explicating on the more literal connotations of the sentence. But I didn't. Should I have? I'll make a poll about it. You, the public, tell me what to do.
